We cover the whole country and aim to get out within 72hours. Qualitair Cooling understands that this may seem like a long time but it will take a good 48-72 hours for materials like kegs to actually warm up to room temperature. 

Cold rooms will hold their temperature even longer if the door is kept shut.

When to contact us?



  • If your cooler air conditioner is displaying a temperature above 14 degree's for more than 3 hrs
  • If your cooler air conditioner is displaying the right temperature but doesn't feel like its anywhere near the correct temperature (ideally check with another thermometer)
  • If you can see lots of ice on the systems coils that wasn't there before
  • Water spilling out of the unit
  • Theres no or little air flow from the fan
  • Electrics tripping the fuse
  • Burning smells
  • If any of the units stop working
  • If any of the units are making any unusual or loud noises
  • Finally, if you have any concerns or questions do not hesitate to get in touch for an ac service!


Costs


Our call out cost is a flat rate at £190 +VAT (there is a surcharge for central London and islands). 


This includes up to an hour on site to diagnose the system and any issues. very simple fast fix's will just need parts paying for on top. More complex repairs are an additional charge which will be discussed on site before carried out.

  • My cellar cooler is reading above 13 degrees, what do I do?

    Most people think that this means they need to drop the temperature on their unit but actually this shows there is an issue with the cooler air conditioner. It could be that it's struggling due to needing a service or something has failed. Get in touch and describe whats going on so we can help diagnose or arrange a visit. 

  • My cooler is iced up - what do I do?

    Turn the system off. We are unable to look at or diagnose a system that is blocked by ice. It can take up to 48hours to defrost completely. Once it has defrosted then please turn it back on and observe what it does. Let us know and it might be we have to arrange a visit or see how it goes. 

  • The outdoor unit isn't coming on so there is no cooling - what do I do?

    Turn the system off. You are ultimately now just wasting electricity. If the system isn't cooling then there is no need for it to be on. It could be a simple fix or a failed unit but the longer it is running with issues the more problems that develop and the bigger the bill. 

  • What is the average lifespan of a commercial refrigeration unit?

    The lifespan of a cellar cooling unit can vary depending on factors such as usage and maintenance. However, on average, a well-maintained unit can last up to 10-15 years. If your system is around this age or older it might be worth looking at upgrading to a more efficient and economical system.
